    Attention, Bay County drivers: Traffic/construction advisories for week of July 14, 2024

    BAY COUNTY — The Florida Department of Transportation has issued another traffic advisory in Bay County, alerting motorists to ongoing and upcoming road projects.

    Bay County drivers will experience the following traffic disruptions, according to a news release from the FDOT:

    U.S. 98 west of Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue to east of Louisiana Avenue

    Expect some lane closures through August.

    U.S. 98 widening from Mandy Lane to east of Nautilus Street

    U.S. 98 drivers will encounter lane closures between Pier Park Drive and Nautilus Street between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. July 14-18.

    State Road 390 Bridge over Mill Bayou

    Expect lane closures between Brook Forest Drive and Cato Road, July 14-20.

    Hutchison Boulevard drainage project

    Drivers will encounter lane closures 7:30 p.m.-7:30 a.m. July 14-18 between Richard Jackson Boulevard and Clara Avenue.

    U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway) resurfacing from Walton County Line to Heather Drive

    Drivers will encounter nighttime lane closures July 14-18 for asphalt paving activities.

    Gulf Coast Parkway construction from U.S. 98 (Tyndall Parkway) to Star Avenue

    U.S. 98 (Tyndall Parkway) drivers will encounter a lane closure from East 11th Street to Tram Road 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15-20 for turn lane construction.
