Pictures and videos posted online show a fireball supposedly outside the cafe in the aftermath of the explosion.

The horror unfolded in Mogadishu, Somalia and local media are reporting at least five people are dead and 20 injured.

A witness said: “Some of the spectators got injured while trying to jump the perimeter wall of the caf, and others got wounded in a stampede.”

Fans inside had been watching the highly anticipated Euro 2024 final , where England narrowly lost 2-1 to Spain.

The Three Lions just missed out on winning their first major trophy since 1966.

Jude Bellingham was seen angrily booting a water cooler as the players struggled to keep their emotions under control.

England captain and striker, Harry Kane , looked visibly distraught after he was substituted just 61 minutes into the match.

Goals from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal destroyed Gareth Southgate’s dream of ending 58 years of trophyless hurt.

His battlers fought their way to a historic first foreign final but were crushed by hot favourites Spain and stars including 17-year-old wonderboy Lamine Yama

Three Lions became the first team to ever lose back-to-back Euros finals – and it could be Southgate’s last ever game as manager for the side.

Prince William , his 10-year-old son Prince George and soccer-made PM Sir Keir Starmer watched glum-faced as the drama unfolded at Berlin’s historic Olympic Stadium last night.

Nico Williams caught England napping when he put Spain ahead just 70 seconds after the restart.

Gareth Southgate’s side had grown in confidence as the first half wore on but had to come from behind.

Jude Bellingham showed his quality to create an opening at the edge of the box but flashed his left-foot shot wide.

Cole Palmer scored just seconds after coming on for England to make it level.

But then Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal scored to put Spain ahead at 2-1.

England fans trudged home in misery as huge soccer knees-ups across the nation fell flat – but heads were held high thanks to the incredible achievement of Southgate’s squad.

However, fans in Somlia’s capital city Mogadishu are still reeling from the car explosion which has seen five people die and at least 20 injured.

It is not immediately clear who is responsible for the alleged attack as Mogadishu has remained mostly peaceful in recent months.
