    KEENE, N.H. – The City of Keene has announced Carrah Fisk Hennessey as the new Director of Parks and Recreation, starting her role on July 1, 2024. Ms. Fisk Hennessey brings over 20 years of experience in coaching, education, and community leadership, positioning her as a key leader for the city's parks and recreation programs.

    City Manager Elizabeth Dragon expressed confidence in the new appointment, citing Ms. Fisk Hennessey's extensive experience in planning and program development which will be vital in continuing to enhance Keene's Parks and Recreation services.

    Ms. Fisk Hennessey's background includes roles such as Head Softball Coach and Adjunct Professor of Elementary Education at Keene State College. Her experience is expected to benefit her new role significantly, especially in managing program development and fostering community partnerships.
