Teen arrested in Union Co. shooting

UNION COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was shot several times in Union County Sunday night.

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies learned of a shooting at the 100 block of Short Street at around 6:50 p.m.

Upon arrival, officials found a woman in a car with multiple gunshot wounds. She was airlifted to Spartanburg Medical Center for her injuries.

Deputies arrested 18-year-old Lucas Billy Robbins of Union in connection with the shooting. He is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime and PWID marijuana.
