Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham OTT Release Date Revealed

Prithviraj Sukumaran ’s recent survival thriller, Aadujeevitham , premiered in theaters on March 28, 2024, and received widespread acclaim. The makers also marketed the film as The Goat Life, which is based on the true story of Najeeb. Following its successful theatrical run, fans are eagerly awaiting its digital premiere. Recently, a streaming giant confirmed that Aadujeevitham will soon debut on their platform in multiple languages.

What is Aadujeevitham’s OTT release date & platform?

Earlier reports suggested that Aadujeevitham would be available on May 26 on Disney Plus Hotstar. However, Netflix India South recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they will premiere Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life) on their platform on July 19, 2024 . Originally made in Malayalam, the film will be available on OTT in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The official announcement post on X reads, “Pradheekshayum porattavum niranja Najeebinde jeevitha katha. (The life story of Najeeb is filled with waiting and struggle.) Aadujeevitham is coming to Netflix on 19th July in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.” This has heightened audience anticipation as they look forward to enjoying the film from the comfort of their homes.

Directed by Blessy, Aadujeevitham is based on the novel of the same name, penned by Benyamin. It tells the harrowing true story of Najeeb , who was forced into slavery in Saudi Arabia. The film showcases the final stages of Najeeb’s life, capturing his 3.5 years of isolation in the desert, away from human existence. Alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film stars Jimmy Jean-Louis and K. R. Gokul in lead roles, with Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in supporting roles.
