CLEVELAND (WJW) – A large cluster of heavy rain and strong storms will develop across eastern Iowa, southern Wisconsin, and northern Illinois Monday evening.
These downpours and storms will track east across the lower Great Lakes Monday night and could reach Northeast Ohio early Tuesday morning.
Mild and mostly quiet tonight. Temperatures will mostly be in the 70s with a few clouds around. Showers and a few t-storms will move in overnight. Mostly scattered rain for the morning commute tomorrow (west).
After a few sprinkles and clouds in the morning, drier and steamy for the afternoon. A mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. A few sct’d showers will develop during the evening…pretty hit and miss.
A cold front will slowly drop south across the area late Tuesday into Wednesday. Scattered rain showers and storms will develop ahead of and along the front Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning. Depending on the position of the front, scattered rain showers and storms could develop south of I-76 Wednesday afternoon.
You will notice a big change in the weather behind the front. The end of the workweek will not be nearly has hot or as humid. Thursday and Friday will be pleasant summer days.
From this distance, the upcoming weekend looks warm and dry. Here’s the latest 8-Day Forecast:
