VSP searching for missing man last seen at hotel in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Virginia State Police (VSP) has issued a critically missing adult alert for a man who was last seen at a hotel in Fairfax County.

Troopers said 66-year-old Thomas Lester Jr. was last seen on July 6 at the Holiday Inn in the Fort Belvoir area. Investigators believe he is driving an SUV rental from Enterprise with unknown plates.

VSP describes Lester as around 5’11” with brown eyes and black hair. He weighs around 350 lbs. At this time, a description of his clothing is unknown.

State police said his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
