Princess Charlotte’s Pink Ray-Ban Sunglasses Go Viral, Wears Polka Dot Dress by Guess Alongside Mom Kate Middleton for Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final

Princess Charlotte wore the ideal attire to the Men’s Singles final for The Championships, Wimbledon, in London on Sunday. The 9-year-old British royal family member joined her mother Kate Middleton and aunt Pippa Middleton for the special occasion and rare public appearance.

For the final day of the Grand Slam tennis tournament, Princess Charlotte wore a blue chiffon white polka dot dress courtesy of Guess. The dress featured flowing short sleeves and a tiered fabric element on the skirt, with a hemline just above the young royal’s knee.

While Princess Charlotte accessorized with a few of her personal bracelets and jewelry pieces, she also wore a pair of sunglasses that went viral almost immediately as they were spotted. The young royal wore a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses with polished transparent pink frames and clear gradient red mirror lenses.

“Princess Charlotte Sunglasses” became a Google Trends breakout search following her appearance at Wimbledon. Queries for “Ray-Ban Sunglasses for Kids” were up 350 percent and “Ray-Ban kids” were up 140 percent.

Princess Charlotte’s sunglasses complemented the frames her mother wore during the match, as well. The Princess of Wales fashioned a pair of black framed sunglasses at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Sunday. She paired the sunglasses with a purple midi dress by British brand Safiyaa, and gold hoop earrings from By Pariah. The mother-daughter pair were also joined by The Princess of Wales’ sister, Pippa Middleton, who wore a peony teaberry floral midi dress by Beulah London .

Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton’s joint appearance for the Men’s Singles final at Wimbledon marks the second year in a row the two have attended the event. Last year, Kate and Princess Charlotte were also joined by Prince William and Prince George.

Middleton presented Carlos Alcaraz with the winner’s trophy after beating Serbia’s Novak Djokovic during their men’s singles final tennis match.

The occasion also marks one of the few public appearances the Princess of Wales has made since she publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis last March. She made her first public appearance following the announcement at Trooping the Colour last June.
