Bobby Accidentally Sends $500 Venmo To Wrong Person

A listener called in wanting to know how people felt about teachers asking for help with their Amazon Wishlist’s. Bobby Bones decided to Venmo her $500 to put towards it, but he later realized he sent the money to the wrong person!

He sent another $500 to the actual teacher who called in and she received it! Bones then saw a TikTok video of a cop telling people that if someone accidentally sends you money on Venmo, don’t send it back because it could be a scam and they stole a credit card. Bones wanted the person he accidentally sent the money to know it’s not a scam, so he sent them $1 with a message explaining the situation and told them to just keep it. He also included his Instagram profile so they could see he is a real person and it’s truly not a scam, but the person never replied. He hopes the person he accidentally sent the money to needed it and it helps them!
