BigBang star Taeyang has announced his 2024 concert tour dates in Seoul. The singer will hold his first solo gig in seven years. As a result, the news of his ‘THE LIGHT YEAR’ show has fans excited and guessing which countries he will visit next.

Taeyang started his K-pop career as a member of the boy band, BigBang, in 2006. Within two years of the group’s official introduction, he surprised fans by releasing his solo debut EP, Hot. Ever since then, the 36-year-old singer has carved an identity for himself as a part of the act and a solo performer.

The last decade has seen many changes in the Korean music industry, and all BigBang members have left YG Entertainment. However, Taeyang has not cut ties with label as he joined the entertainment company’s subsidiary agency, The Black Label.

K-pop star Taeyang will begin his 2024 tour in Seoul. The Black Label has announced that several Asian cities will be added to his tour list at a later date. Along with the main concert experience, Taeyang will invite some fans for a soundcheck live and Q&A session. Based on the ticket packages, they will get to watch various parts of the show.

The date and venue of Taeyang’s 2024 Concert Tour include:

• August 31, 2024 (6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m ET): Olympic Hall, Seoul, South Korea
• September 1, 2024 (5 p.m. KST/ 4 a.m. ET): Olympic Hall, Seoul, South Korea

How to book Taeyang tour 2024 tickets

Taeyang’s Seoul concert 2024 tickets will go on sale on the ticketing site Interpark on July 17, 2024, at noon KST. Ticket prices will vary based on the package fans choose. The fan package ticket is 220,000 won ($159), the soundcheck experience tickets will cost 187,000 won ($135), and reserved SR seats are 154,000 won ($111).

Every individual can purchase up to four tickets from the website. It also mentions that fans above seven years of age can enter the venue. Stay tuned for more updates.
