Candace Owens Fires Back At Eminem After Rapper Dissed Her On His New Album

Candace Owens has responded to Eminem’s controversial lyrics targeting her on his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grǎce),” released on July 12.

The outspoken conservative commentator addressed the jabs during her podcast, “The Candace Owens Show,” and an interview on “The TMZ Podcast.”

In the track “Lucifer,” Eminem raps:

“And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her, I ain’t gon’ throw the fact b—ch forgot she was Black back at her / Laugh at her like them crackers she’s backing’ after back is turned in a cute MAGA hat with her brand new White Lives Matter shirt, or say this MAGA dirtbag in a skirt.”

He also calls her “Grand Wizard, Klandace” and expresses a twisted desire to get closer to her.

Owens didn’t hold back in her response, suggesting that Eminem is struggling with his own identity.

“First thing I wanna say is Eminem is obviously a gay man. It’s very sad that Eminem cleaned out his closet but never came out of his closet,” she said on her podcast. She dismissed his comments as a desperate attempt to stay relevant.

In her discussion with TMZ’s Charlie Cotton, Owens contrasted Eminem’s shoutout with her mention by comedian Dave Chappelle:

“When Dave Chappelle acknowledged me at all, even though he was saying things that were really gross and disrespectful, I tweeted out, ‘This is the most famous comedian in the world, and he’s acknowledging me.’ But Eminem, his career has been in full decline. He’s inserting me into his lyrics, hoping that Black Americans will pass it around and say, ‘Look, he’s making fun of Candace.’ That just feels like the ultimate pander.”

Owens also addressed Eminem’s suggestive lyrics about her, stating:

“I’m definitely not interested. His daughter is beautiful. She just got married. I think he needs to go ahead and be a grandpa or go back to talking about wanting to kill Kim. I don’t know, but it’s just not interesting.”

Eminem’s album takes more shots at Owens on the track “Bad Ones,” where he criticizes her for allegedly abandoning her race.

Owens accused the rapper of trying to reclaim an audience he has distanced himself from, stating:

“He’s grandad, this is Grandad Shady.”

The back-and-forth has sparked reactions on social media, with some users defending Owens and others mocking her for overreacting. Owens, however, seems to be relishing the attention, even teasing a potential musical response.

Eminem has not publicly addressed Owens’ comments, focusing instead on promoting his new album.
