As we reported back in May, Hallmark is adapting KJ Dell’Antonia’s New York Times best-selling novel, The Chicken Sisters into an eight episode series. The show is currently in production but we learned today that another big name is joining the already stellar cast. In addition to Wendie Malick, Lea Thompson, Schuyler Fish, and Genevieve Angelson, Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale will be the show’s narrator.

Matlock Reboot Starring Kathy Bates Finally Gets Premiere Date

Hal Linden and Marilu Henner are now starring in The Journals of Adam and Eve, a new comedy by Ed. Weinberger, which is being presented as a special summer run at The Sheen Center, 18 Bleecker Street. Amy Anders Corcoran directs.
