The results are in: Readers select the top spot for French fries in Lenawee County

LENAWEE COUNTY — In honor of National French Fry Day last Friday, July 12, we dared to ask the question — who makes the best French fries in Lenawee County?

We reached out to our Facebook community for nominations. We watched as many of you responded passionately to the post. We collected the nominations and posted a list of local french fry artisans on our website , asking people to vote for their favorite.

The voting was furious, and after the polls closed at 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 12, these votes were counted.

The results are in... drumroll, please.

Capturing an impressive 33% of the more than 130 total votes was — Culvers in Adrian. Despite some very delicious competition from several local tasty french fry establishments, the people spoke, and the national chain emerged as the county's top spot for these delicious golden potato delights.

Country Skillet (26.92%), Doll n' Burgers (16.92%), Tip Top Restaurant (10%), Frickers (6.92%) and Boot Jack Tavern (6.15%) round out the top spots to find french fries in Lenawee County.
