I’m a boy mom & added some DIY fun to my sons’ kiddie pool – they love it & no one is fighting over the water hose

A MOM has decided to spruce up her outdoor kiddie pool with a homemade addition.

The DIY fun was approved by her children and even put an end to fighting over the water hose.

Marie (@itz.bammarz) filmed her clever contraption in a viral video on TikTok.

She used a plastic product that would typically end up in the recycling bin — a plastic bottle.

Setting up her outdoor area, she found a tall tree on top of her kiddie pool.

The "boy mom" poked holes in the bottle and filled it with water using the hose to create additional summer fun for her sons.

"I bought them their own kid pool filled it up then placed a homemade water sprinkler above them," she wrote in the caption.

"They love it and no one is fighting over the water hose lol."

DIY TO DIE FOR

Several TikTokers chimed in to give their thoughts on the mom-made children's activity.

Many people wondered why they hadn't learned of the hack earlier.

"Now why the hell didn’t we do this as kids?" one wrote.

"Why did I not ever think of this lol?" another commented on the DIY sprinkler.

Others mentioned that the homemade kiddie pool fun took them back to their own childhoods.

"One of my favorite memories," one said. "My dad would use the two-liter sodas."

Some assured the "#boymom" that her sons would be even more grateful for the experience as they grow up.

The mother shared her gratitude for the supportive response to her DIY summertime fun.
