Tickets to the Great New York State Fair go on sale Tuesday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Tickets for the Great New York State Fair go on sale on Tuesday!

Admission, parking, and tickets to the Midway will go on sale Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. This year’s fair goes from Wednesday, Augst 21, to Monday, September 2.

Admission to the fair costs $8.32 a ticket, with frequent fairgoer tickets costing $25.70. Parking costs $12.41 per vehicle. Guests can purchase tickets and parking either on the fair’s website , over the phone, or at the gate starting August 21.

From July 16 through August 21, you can buy “Ride All Day” wristbands for $31.25 per pass or Mega Passes at $95 per pass. These are for the Wade Shows Midway. After August 21, wristbands are available for $35 Mondays through Thursdays and $45 from Fridays through Sundays. Mega Passes increase to $110 after the fair begins.

You can purchase individual ride tickets at any ticket booth, which go for $7 for one credit, $35 for 30, and $50 for 50.
