CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — After several days of extreme heat, temperatures in the mid-90s are expected to continue in West Virginia for a few more days.

In north central West Virginia, Harrison, Lewis, Doddridge, Ritchie and Gilmer counties are under a Heat Advisory starting at 2 p.m. on Monday, with heat indexes expected to be around 100, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
