After the dramatic end of Part 1, Showtime Season 1 Part 2 recently came out and continued the story of Victory Studios’ struggles. While the new part threw light on a much darker side of Bollywood, it also showcased how each character of the web series suffers in their personal and professional lives.

The web series, which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, stars Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Naseeruddin Shah, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Denzil Smith, and Lillete Dubey.

Showtime Season 1 Part 2 ending explained & spoilers

Showtime Season 1 Part 2 begins where the first part left off. It consists of three episodes that somehow changed the entire trajectory of the web series. While Mahika worked fine for Victory Studios and made her way into the industry, the second part reveals how it changed her. Moreover, Saajan (played by Vijay Raaz) emerges as the antagonist as he ruins both Raghu and Mahika’s studios.

What leads to Victory Studios’ downfall?

Showtime Season 1 Part 2 begins with Armaan reacting to the scandal he has ignited with his intimate pictures with Saira. While he tries to handle the situation with the help of his team, Mahika visits him and extends her support. Soon, Mahika’s choice of siding with Armaan is questioned in an interview. As Mandira decides to divorce Armaan, Mahika accidentally reveals the same on TV. Armaan then hits his fan and loses his cool before everyone. He decides to cut ties with Victory Studios and also refuses to continue with 1857.

On the other hand, Raghu sides with Mandira and supports her. It is when Mandira reveals that Armaan had cheated her several times before. While Raghu helps Mandira deal with the situation, he tries to find Yasmine, who has gone to her parents’ house in Lucknow.

Filmmaker Saajan, with whom Raghu had decided to make movies, reveals how he wants to launch his son. During his meeting with Raghu, he talks ill about Victor, angering him. Raghu cuts ties with Saajan and insults him. On the other hand, Yasmine aborts her child with Raghu and returns to Mumbai.

As Armaan tries to convince Mandira to reunite, she plans to seek revenge. Mandira pushes Armaan away on a live session and confirms her separation from her husband. Amid the chaos, Mahika cheats on Prithvi and sleeps with Satya. The episode ends when Saajan organizes an income tax raid on Raghu’s production house.

Does Mahika and Raghu join hands against Saajan?

The last episode of Showtime Season 1 sees how every character struggles in their lives. After receiving an invitation from Saajan, Mahika meets him in Agra. The former announces an alliance with Victory Studios and organizes a press conference. On the other hand, the income tax department does not find anything at Raghu’s production house. However, the officer finds a lead against Victory Studios and informs Saajan about it.

After her fight with Raghu, Yasmine decides to go out and talk about her situation to her fans. She holds a live session right after the news of her abortion goes viral. During the live session, her fans support her, but soon, they start shelling out hate comments when she confirms her abortion.

Situations in each character’s life get more intense when Mahika refuses to attend Saajan’s press conference. At the same time, Raghu goes on live TV and dismisses Saajan. He also extends his support to Yasmine.

In the end, Victory Studios faces an income tax raid that leads to its shutting down. An angry Raghu lashes out at Mahika for ruining the entire company. However, he then offers to join hands with her and work together. On the other hand, Armaan offers Yasmine the chance to join him in an action movie to seek revenge against Mahika and Raghu.
