    Lewis County residents that lost food could get replacement SNAP benefits

    LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. (WWTI) – Lewis County residents that lost food due to flooding and power outages from recent events could be eligible for SNAP benefit replacement.

    In an announcement from the county’s Facebook page, anyone that gets SNAP benefits and lost their food supply due to the recent flooding and power outages, could be eligible for benefit replacement.

    Lowville set one-day preliminary precipitation record on Wednesday

    Anyone can report their losses by calling 315-376-5400 or by completing this form . The form must be returned to the Lewis County Department of Social Service office, which is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

    Any losses must be reported by Friday, July 19.
