Stranger Things Season 5 Teased in Brand New Promo

Netflix confirmed Stranger Things season five started production in January, and now we have our first sneak peek at the final chapter of the series that has been going on for eight years.

"Take it all in, nerds", the official Stranger Things X (formerly known as Twitter) account posted, "We've hit the halfway mark of filming the final season and wanted to give you all a look at what we've been up to".

The almost two-minute-long video teases the magic of what's to come, teasing the sprawling sets that showcase the stunning production design before we hear, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Season Five".

A clip from day one shows us the set being built in real-time before we see some familiar faces that have built the show into what it is.

"I started when I was ten," Millie Bobby Brown says, "I'm now turning 20 years old".

We hear someone else say, "I think this is gonna be the best season yet," and suddenly, we're into the action.

It may have been two years since season four of Stranger Things, but we're promised "One hundred per cent, the wait will be worth it."

The hype keeps going as we're told, "Season four was big. Season five definitely feels bigger," and we creep deep into the forest, where an ominous glow lights the set.
