Joe Giglio believes that ranking Jalen Hurts outside of the top 10 among quarterbacks in the NFL is fair and reasonable.

"I think the list is fair," Giglio said of the most recent ESPN.com QB rankings list , which did not have Hurts in the top 10. "I don't have a problem with Jalen Hurts not ranked as a top 10 quarterback, he didn't play like one last year...I understand some guys have less track record, but Jordan Love looked better at the end of last year than Jalen Hurts. Brock Purdy played better than Jalen Hurts last year...I don't think it's crazy to say right now Jalen Hurts is not a top 10 quarterback."

ESPN surveyed NFL executives, coaches and scouts to rank the top 10 players at every position. Here is their quarterback ranking list:

    1. Patrick Mahomes
    2. Joe Burrow
    3. Josh Allen
    4. Lamar Jackson
    5. Matthew Stafford
    6. Justin Herbert
    7. CJ Stroud
    8. Aaron Rodgers
    9. Jared Goff
    10. Dak Prescott

Honorable mentions: Brock Purdy, Jordan Love, Jalen Hurts

Giglio ranked all 32 NFL quarterbacks last week, putting Hurts 11th, in a similar position.

Last season, Hurts threw a career high 15 interceptions, as the Eagles' offense sputtered down the stretch and the team lost six of their final seven games, including a blowout playoff loss at the Bucs.
