Fried Cabbage with Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon Recipe: Differing opinions may arise on the health factor of this dish, leaving the judgment to individual perspectives. Yet, its undeniable deliciousness stands as a universal truth.

For this recipe, you will require the following ingredients:- 5 slices of bacon, chopped- 1/2 cup of yellow onions, chopped- 3 cups of cabbage, cut into thin strips- 10-12 shrimp, with the tail removed and deveined- 1 link of kielbasa or smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces- 1 tablespoon of olive oil- 1 teaspoon of seafood seasoning- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper- 1/4 teaspoon of salt- 1/2 teaspoon of oregano- 3 cloves of minced garlic- A pinch of crushed red pepper (optional)- 2 tablespoons of butter- 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegarEnsure you have all these ingredients ready before starting the cooking process.

Season the shrimp with olive oil and seafood seasoning, then set them aside. Proceed to cook the bacon until crispy, then transfer it from the skillet, retaining the grease in the pan. In the same skillet, add the sausage and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside for later use.

Include shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and curl into a "c" shape. Afterwards, set aside. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the same pan. Add onions, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Sauté for around 5-6 minutes until the onions start to soften. Introduce the garlic and cook until it releases its aroma.

Incorporate 1 tablespoon of butter and apple cider vinegar into the pan. Ensure thorough blending before adding the cabbage, and tossing it well. Cook for about 12 minutes or until the cabbage reaches desired tenderness. Finally, stir in the bacon, shrimp, and sausage to complete the dish. Bon appétit!

It looks really good and I've always added sausage and bacon to cabbage but never shrimp. I may even try it one day with everything..
