    Severe thunderstorm watch placed in parts of Pennsylvania

    EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU) — A portion of Central Pennsylvania and the Northern Tier have been placed under a severe thunderstorm watch.

    While most of Monday and Tuesday is dry, afternoon and evening showers and storms are likely. A shower or storm is possible even in the mornings but it would be rather isolated.

    Heat advisory in effect across Pennsylvania

    The severe thunderstorm watch is issued until 7:00 p.m. Monday.

    Any storm may produce damaging wind gusts, downpours, and a small chance of an isolated tornado.
