A TikTok influencer recently saved hundreds of cats by raising funds for a South Texas shelter. The feline sanctuary was struggling financially and on the verge of shutting business. However, with the help of the influencer and his millions of followers, they were able to save the shelter. Although he expected to be able to raise about $10,000, he miraculously raised more than $190,000, allowing the organization to continue helping more kitties.

SB Mowing’s Spencer is a popular TikTok and YouTube influencer. He creates content on lawn care and mows them for free for individuals and families who can’t do it themselves. The Kansas resident has garnered about 10 million followers on TikTok and 2 million on YouTube .
The social media star was in Texas for a lawn cleanup when he encountered an injured cat . He was in the weeds and had several wounds from what the professionals believe was an animal attack. However, the injuries had developed into an infected abscess. The cat would have died if not saved by the TikTok influencer.
Of all the rescues in the region, Edgar and Ivy’s Cat Sanctuary was the only one ready to take in the feline named Esbee. Fortunately, he was treated in time, for which Spencer gave them all the money he had with him and also set up a GoFundMe . The shelter’s director, Anissa Beal, was happy with the amount Spencer paid. However, he wanted to help them further and offered to help raise about $10,000.
SB Mowing’s followers raised over $190,000 and sent four truckloads of cat essentials from the shelter’s Amazon wishlist. According to MySA , Edgar and Ivy’s Cat Sanctuary overcame its financial issues and added a new building to its facility. Since then, they have rescued about 700 cats.
Moreover, the tabby cat saved by the TikTok influencer has fully recovered. He will be staying at the cat sanctuary as a full-time resident. While many did offer to adopt him, Beal wanted to ensure Esbee was with people who would take proper care of him.
