Miranda Lambert Faces Backlash After Interrupting Show to Scold Fans

Miranda Lambert has some music fans all riled up after pausing during a recent concert to scold her own fans.

The "Little Red Wagon" singer went off on some members of the audience during her headlining set on the first night of the Under the Big Sky festival in Montana on Saturday, July 13. Based on a video of the moment uploaded to TikTok, the country crooner appeared agitated after seeing that some of her audience members were not entirely focused on her.

"I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way," she said in the footage, pointing at herself. "So if you came to visit, you can do it somewhere else...are we clear?"

Her statement came off as "entitled" to many fans watching from home, although as she continued to speak, it appeared to have stemmed from another fight in the crowd .

"Are we done with our drama yet?" she continued, pointing at a specific group of people. "...fighting is not okay."

"Cheers everybody," she added, holding up a glittering tumbler with a straw. "I'm gonna wait it out."

It's not entirely clear if she was addressing multiple issues at once, or if her announcement stemmed from a single instance, but it didn't sit right either way.

"We left before she performed," one former fan commented on the clip, adding that they "used to love her" but "didn’t feel like getting yelled at" if they stayed.

"If I spend my own money to go to a show I’ll take a nap if I feel like it…" another wrote, with several pointing out that, as the artist, she's getting paid either way. "what does it matter to her?!?!"

"I paid for my ticket if I wanna talk to someone I will," another agreed, calling Lambert "entitled," while someone else similarly wanted to know "why is she so pressed all the time."

"Wait…didn’t she already do something like this before or am I tripping?😂," another asked, likely recalling the time she was dubbed the "Grinch of Country" after popping a beach ball that made it out of the audience and up on stage, which happened shortly after she interrupted her own concert to yell at fans for taking selfies .

"this has always been her. I remember it from her county fair days," another former fan recalled, admitting that they've "never paid to see her again."
