Most kids are taught about “stranger danger” from a young age, but one pet parent seems to have instilled this knowledge in her dog! This pet owner caught the most hilarious footage of her pooch’s reaction to someone other than Mom holding her leash. During an outdoor walk, the woman handed the reins over to another person while the Labrador wasn’t paying attention. When the pup noticed what had happened, she was not happy!

“Watch my dog realize it is not Mom holding her leash,” wrote the owner in her clip.

Immediately, the “stranger danger” alarm bells went off for this dog. She grabbed the leash with her mouth and started pulling it away from the human. Although the person put up a good struggle, the pooch eventually managed to regain control. While this was pretty adorable, what happened next will totally melt your heart!

Instead of using her newfound freedom to run away, this dog trotted right over to Mom and handed the leash over. She looked so happy when her owner took it from her. Stranger danger had been averted, Mom was taking her dog for a walk, and all was right with the world!

Commenters thought that the video of the Labrador yanking the leash away from the other person was way too funny.
