Niko Omilana did Sketch dirty in a new Mr. Beast video.

The YouTubers were one of fifty who went through a series of challenges in an effort to win $1,000,000 for their subscribers. In one challenge, teams of five were asked to select a team captain who would receive immunity in an unknown challenge. Sketch's team tapped Niko to lead them. In fact, when Mr. Beast asked Sketch if he trusted Niko with his life, he replied: "I trust him. I trust him fully."

That trust was shattered pretty quickly, though, after the challenge was revealed to be the Dalgona cookie challenge from Squid Game . The team captain was responsible for dishing out the cookies each with a different design and each with a varying level of difficulty to cut out. In a shocking twist, Niko picked Sketch to cut out that umbrella shape, which is known for being the hardest cookie.

Sketch got to work, concentrating on the task at hand. As other YouTubers successfully cut out their shapes, they started to cheer him on, expressing support for the breakthrough content creator. Despite dishing out the cookie, Niko wanted the best for Sketch, telling him: "You've got to be careful, yeah?"

Karl Jacobs, a member of Mr. Beast's team, laid on the pressure as he sat next to Sketch. "That's where it's going to mess up. This is where people crack," he told him right before the cookie did, in fact, crack, eliminating Sketch from the game instantly.

Angrily, Sketch sent a message to his friend. He said, "He betrayed me. You gave the guy with the worst eyesight, the worst hands, the worst thing." The star then refused to dab Niko up on his way out.

Recently, Sketch has been leaning on his friends a little extra. He was the target of a scheme to out him. Another YouTuber unearthed footage which showed Sketch getting sexual with another man in some old OnlyFans content. When the content leaked online, Sketch's friends publicly admitted that the star had ran off, suggesting he was in a state of distress.

Sketch later went live to discuss the incident, explaining that his friends, including Faze Banks, reached out to him and offered their support. He implied that their kindness helped save his life as he had long feared that it would come out one day. However, he quickly slipped into his more humorous demeanor and made light of the situation, saying: "I did not have sexual relations with that man. I'm just kidding. I did. Cat's out of the bag."

He also noted that he'd be making a comeback to content creation relatively soon, only taking a brief break. The Mr. Beast video then dropped days later, which would be the last major project Sketch worked on before the incident.

The internet star received an outpouring of support from his fans and the internet as a whole. In fact, the situation shifted the perspective of many of his fans, who previously admitted to holding negative views toward the LGBTQ+ community. Now, many are saying they've gained "empathy," for the content creator.

One fan on TikTok said: "I found it weird that my thoughts didn't change on Sketch even though he did other stuff two years ago, so I kind of thought to myself, 'Why would I think about any other person on this planet like that?' ... With this whole Sketch situation I kind of learned as an individual I cant be so close minded towards other groups of people."

Another on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: "i don’t even f--- with sketch but he is doing more for the lgbtq community regarding allyship and empathy than anyone else has in 10 years and i respect him for that sm."
