    Cow Valley Fire grows to 132,000 acres; Brogan homes protected; some residents asked to be prepared to leave

    The Cow Valley Fire burning in northern Malheur County, Oregon's biggest blaze, continued to grow on Sunday, July 14, but firefighters have protected about 45 homes in the unincorporated community of Brogan.

    The human-caused fire, which was reported early Thursday morning, July 11, and is under investigation, has burned about 132,000 acres.
