Transformers One Clip Shows Off Chris Hemsworth’s Optimus Prime

Take a new look at Transformers One in this footage that premiered during the Kids Choice Awards 2024.

Presented by the film’s stars Chris Hemworth, Keegan-Michael Key and Brian Tyree Henry, we see the Transformers sprinting desperately down a gigantic cavern laden with crystals.

“Wait, we have cogs, we can transform now,” says Arcee, pointing out why they’re running when they could be driving. “That’s right, everyone ready?” asks Hemsworth’s Optimus, before the entire group plunge down a ravine.

The Autobots are clearly new at this. As they flee a horde of flying robots shooting lasers at them, Optimus attempts to transform into his signature Freightliner fl86 vehicle mode.

Instead of a smooth transition, however, his head gets stuck inside his body and he runs around in a panic. It’s a side we’ve not seen to the Transformers before: them as bumbling amateurs.
