Following the work of a larger-than-life neurologist (played by Broadway vet Zachary Quinto), Brilliant Minds is a medical drama inspired by the life of Dr. Oliver Wolf Sacks', a brain disorder researcher who passed away in 2015.

Actor/director/writer/producer Tony Lo Bianco passed away at this home in Poolesville, Maryland, on June 11, after battling prostate cancer. Lo Bianco starred in the Academy Award-winning film The French Connection and was a Tony-nominated actor for Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge on Broadway. He received an Emmy Award for his portrayal of New York Mayor Fiorello La Guardia in Hizzoner!, and one for his video honoring veterans, Just A Common Soldier.

With more than half of 2024 already behind us, it feels like a good time to look back at what the year has offered in terms of television. The first half of 2024 was kind to TV lovers, with the return of fan-favorite shows like "The Boys" and "House of the Dragon."
