As the saying goes, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree—and from the looks of it, that can be said of Prince William 's son, Prince George .

In new video footage shared by royal family fan page royaltywithclaire , the father-son duo can be seen watching a sporting event from in the stands.

At one point, the match got exciting and became quite intense as the Prince of Wales slightly rose to his feet before bending back down to sit in his seat, all while holding his hands on his head and over his face in what looked to be complete disbelief-turned-disappointment.

The little one by his side appeared nearly an exact mirror of his dad, captured doing the same motions and wearing an identical facial expression as the 42-year-old heir to the throne.

The pair even wore perfectly matching outfits, both sporting black suits with white shirts and striped neck ties.

"Couldn’t resist to post William and George’s reactions😂❤️," the blogger captioned the video taken at the Euro 2024 soccer tournament.

In the comments, fans noticed the similarities between the father of three and his eldest child's reactions and didn't waste time gushing over how "lovely" their bond appears to be.

"I love how he mimics his father’s mannerisms! ❤️," one said, while another agreed, "Super interesting to see how children learn how to behave by observing their parents 😊."

"Like father, like son👏😍," a third pointed out, as someone else, instead, noticed the genuine enthusiasm: "You can tell that Prince William is a genuine football fan."

Meanwhile, an additional fan of the royal family added, "What a lovely father and son bond 🥺."

Earlier in the day, the duo surprised fans when they were spotted in the stands at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany, to watch Spain and England compete in the UEFA European Football Championship, as they were photographed shaking hands with other dignitaries nearby them and applauding as they cheered for the English team.

Unfortunately for the British royals, Spain won the game 2-1 against England.
