Cooper Cutie Is A Unique Looking Pup Still Searching For Love After Brother Adopted Without Him

    2024-07-16

(MA) Meet Cooper Cutie, an 8-and-a-half-month-old puppy who is part Shepherd, part Hound, part Treeing Walker Coonhound, and a few other parts thrown in. Whatever the combination, the result was an adorable and unique-looking puppy with ears to melt your heart. Cooper was found with his brother as a stray trying to find enough food to get by. While his brother has since been adopted, Cooper has been waiting in rescue now for over 6 months! Are YOU just who he has been waiting for?

    More Information On Cooper Cutie

Cooper Cutie is an 8-and-a-half-month-old Shepherd and Hound mix pup who weighs, as of 7/14/24, 40 pounds. He has a short coat length, which is uniquely patterned in several different colors. His coat is listed as being white, cream, yellow, tan, blond, fawn, and black. That's a lot of color! Cooper is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Cooper is "such a good boy" who is very calm and loving. Despite that calmness, he is still a puppy who has moments of high energy and troublemaking. His foster goes on to say any troublemaking "is all in fun" and that he responds very well to correction and is a fast learner of the ropes and rules.

Cooper's favorite things to do are play outside and cuddling with his humans. He is VERY human-focused and requires a person who can love him just as much back. He does very well with other dogs and is currently getting over his fear of cats.

"We can't believe he been waiting 6 months to find his people - I mean just look at that face...and those amazing ears! They have the best coloring and are always surprising you if they are going to be up, down, or one of each :)" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    How Can You Help Cooper?

If you are interested in adopting Cooper, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. He is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Cooper's Petfinder profiles:www.petfinder.com/dog/copper-cutie
