A popular fast food restaurant serving Nashville style hot chicken is coming to Ireland and the UK .

Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to open 60 locations across the UK and Ireland and has partnered with UK based restaurant investor, Azzurri.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was born in 2017, after four friends scraped together their savings and set up a pop up takeout in Hollywood.

Since then, the brand has expanded across the country with over 200 units, and has been endorsed by celebrity super fans like Drake.

Steve Holmes, CEO of Azzurri Group, said he was blown away by Dave’s Hot Chicken, saying it was some of the most “crave-able and delicious food we’ve ever had.

The chain offers a relatively small menu, focusing on perfecting a few items which customer testimonials claim they have. Their fried chicken ranges in spice level from No spice, lite mild, mild, medium, hot, extra-hot, to reaper.

Dave's requires customers to sign a waiver before ordering their Reaper spice level chicken, ensuring that the customer will not sue if they are injured, experience emotional damage, or die from eating the extremely spicy chicken

Comedian Garron Noone weighed in on the news recently, jokingly that “Ireland is in danger,” with the new, unfamiliar levels of spice. “You leave us alone, you’re scaring us,” he said. “I don’t want my tongue to feel like I’ve sat on my leg for too long.”

The news comes just days after American fast food giant Wendy's a nnounced that they too will be moving to Irish shores.
