If you’ve been looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner, now’s the time to buy it.

The iRobot Roomba Combo i3+ is on sale now on Amazon . It’s $329.99, which is 45 percent off the original price of $599.99.

Amazon Prime Day kicks off tomorrow and lasts through July 17. Prime members will get exclusive deals on their favorite brands.

The vacuum comes with two different cleaning mechanisms. It can vacuum up dirt and dust, or it can mop up messes, with the simple switch of a button.

When in the vacuum setting, it can be used on all floor types. Its Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes adjust to the different surfaces, avoiding getting tangled with pet hair.

The Roomba also empties its dust bin on its own for up to 60 days. When docked at the charging port, it empties its vacuum bin into an enclosed bag in the port.

The vacuum uses an Imprint Smart Map to learn your home, meaning you can direct it to clean any room you want – either on a set schedule or in the moment.

When using the mop feature, you can fill the Roomba’s combo bins with compatible cleaning solutions or just water to keep your floors spotless.

The vacuum has 4.1 out of 5 stars. Some customer praise how it keeps their house clean, while others have complaints about the noise and it getting stuck under furniture.

One said: “I have all hard flooring, no carpets, and 2 dogs, a cat, and two birds that all contribute to mess. So I had to sweep everyday or I'd get those pet-hair tumbleweeds blowing around. Having to sweep all the time I get lazy and let it go; or when I do it I spend an hour or 2 sweeping or vacuuming.

“These robots save me hours of time and get the job done better because they are relentless. I set them on a schedule and they do it everyday completely.”

Another wrote: “It was easy to set up. The floor map didn't match exactly but was close enough to work. The map updated several times after that. I have it programmed to vacuum the wood floors daily, and now I don't feel grit when I walk. The rooms with carpet are vacuumed 2 days per week, as programmed. I don't follow it to see what it's doing, but the place is pretty clean. It works great for what it's designed for.”

A less satisfied customer said: “At first, this Roomba worked like a charm in my 750 square feet home. However, within six months I began having issues with the device. I used the iRobot customer service line to speak to a rep, who helped me set up a repair ticket to send the device for repair. After several weeks, the device was sent back to me fixed. Again within the year, I ran into another issue and went through the same process all within the warranty period.

“However, in May of this year, I again started having issues with the self-emptying. Instead of cleaning my house, the Roomba was leaving clumps of dirt and hair everywhere. I reached out the customer service and this time they were not willing to repair the device as it was not within the warranty of a year.”

The vacuum can also be purchased on iRobot’s website for $599.99 or at Target for $549.99.

Shark also has a two-in-one robot vacuum that can mop and pick up dirt. The Shark - AI Ultra Robot Vacuum is $329.99 at Best Buy.
