Thomas Rhett Shares High School Throwback Photos With Wife Lauren Akins

Thomas Rhett shared throwback photos with his wife, Lauren Akins , that were reminiscent of the couple’s high school days on Monday (July 15).

Rhett remembered as he shared old photos on TikTok and Instagram that “84 was the number that I wore under Friday lights.” The country star and his wife met while growing up. They got married in October 2012, and have since welcomed four children together. Rhett's caption is a reference to his latest anthem that released on Friday (July 12) from his seventh studio album. “ Overdrive ” is the third track to release from About A Woman — with a music video starring Rhett’s younger brother, Tyler Lankford — following “Gone Country” and “Beautiful As You.” The full 14-track album is set to make its debut on August 23.

Rhett is one of many artists taking the stage at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival , returning to the T-Mobile Arena stage on September 20 and 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
