Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital (EMFLH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care.  Paulette Henriksen, a nurse in the Medical/Surgical Unit at EMFLH, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.  A resident of Mercer County, Paulette has been caring for patients at EMFLH for 16 years.

She was nominated by a coworker who said, “Paulette is a wonderful nurse. She explains things to patients very well. She always has a positive attitude and will make you smile any time she enters the room. She is a big role model for her peers. We are lucky to have her and I am lucky to work with her.”

Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day.  Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital and other Ephraim McDowell facilities.
