Showers expected later in the week

Headline: Warm and Humid with showers later in the week. Typical July weather for the Crossroads for the early part of the week with highs in the mid 90's and some 100s in Western area. Try and stay cool.

What we are tracking: The heat dome over the Western states did not park itself over Texas as a result of it drifting back west it is going to allow lower pressure to trigger some showers activity over the Crossroads beginning on Thursday and into the weekend. No severe weather is expected.

Extended Outlook: The highs will be typical for early in the week and then they will drop a bit as the clouds and showers develop over the weekend.
