Filing concludes for first day of final week

• Albemarle: Ronnie Michael, mayor; Martha Sue Hall and Benton Dry, council at-large; Bill Aldridge, council District 3; Dexter Townsend, council District 1.
• Badin: W. Demar Hutley, Gary Rife, Sawyer Wyrick, council at-large.
• Locust: Steve Huber, mayor; Jeff Claiborne, Mario Miller, Mike Haigler, Joseph Abbatiello, Denise (De Dee) Nathan, council.
• Misenheimer: Jamie Hammill, Jeffrey G. Watson, council.
• New London: Bill Peak, Richard Kimmer, Bob Loflin Jr., commissioner at-large.
• Norwood: Linda Campbell, mayor.
• Oakboro: Chris N. Huneycutt, mayor; Lanny Hathcock, Fred Smith, Renee Goodman Watkins, commissioner at-large.
• Red Cross: Barbara Carpenter, council.
• Richfield: Mike Beaver, Barry Byrd, Christy NeCaise, commissioner at-large.
• Stanfield: Karen Faye Love, Andrew W. Cave, commissioner at-large.
Filing continues until noon Friday at the Stanly County Board of Elections.
