How Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Keep Their Romance 'Under the Radar'

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet may be keeping their relationship under wraps but their love is far from over.

Just two weeks after the 26-year-old reality TV star and 28-year-old actor were spotted enjoying a date out for the first time in months -- albeit going incognito while wearing masks and hitting up theTCL Chinese Theatre -- one person close to the duo is sharing an update on how the couple is doing more than a year into their romance.

A source tells ET, "Kylie and Timothée like to do low-key date nights and keep their relationship under the radar in order to feel some sense of normalcy. They both want to have a mature relationship where they aren't constantly in the public eye. They know that’s not always feasible, but they both make an effort to respect each other’s privacy."

"They like to have alone time and spend time with Kylie’s family and each other's friends. They cook at home, go to dinners, travel when they can, play board games, and are just their authentic selves together. They are both honest with each other and there isn't any void of communication."

The duo has been linked for more than a year, with ET first confirming their romancein April 2023. According to the insider, the pair's choice to stay out of the public eye -- having only made one big appearance together at the Golden Globes earlier this year -- is about privacy more than anything.

While they have managed to keep their relationship private, to their loved ones, they are known as a great pair who could have a serious future. The source shares that Jenner's friends and family think the Call Me By Your Name actor is the perfect man for her.

"Kylie's family thinks that Timothée is balanced, dedicated, successful, and a family man. They love how he treats her and everyone she cares about. He loves her so much and is respectful to her entire circle. Things are blossoming between them more and more every day," the source says.

In May, another person familiar with the pair told ET that their love is alive and kicking and that they are working hard to support each other in all facets of their lives.

"Kylie and Timothée are still seeing each other and happy. They don't need to try to make things work and it just comes naturally to them. Their relationship is easy. They make an effort to see each other when they can and stay in touch when they’re not geographically close to one another," the person said.

The insider added, "They're in constant and fluid communication. They see a long-lasting relationship together."

Jenner -- who also previously dated rapper Tyga -- shares two children with singer-rapper Travis Scott , whom she dated from 2017 to 2022. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Stormi Webster , on Feb.1, 2017 and their second child together, son Aire Webster, on Feb. 2, 2022 .

For his part, Chalamet has been linked to Lily-Rose Depp and Eiza González , as well as his Bones and All co-star, Taylor Russell .
