But, we never actually hear what Mike says because it is just a loop of him breathing in to begin speaking.

BuzzFeed spoke to Mike, who said he wanted to make new content in a fresh and authentic way. "There’s a lot of canned content out there, and we did not want to make it about our business niche. We have done a lot of different content over the years, but what we thought was funny in the past ended up being an epic flop with little to no engagement. So, we thought, 'Let’s do something original and true to who we are.' We Like to provide value, be relatable, and have fun."

The Gen Z'er who recorded the video is named Teresa. "She is a rock star and has been with us since February. She has a unique pulse in creativity," said Mike.

"At first, she edited the video as a joke, but we both thought it was hysterical. We did not think much about it and posted it," he added.

Mike said the biggest surprise about generational differences in his business is the way things are said. In his experience, he has had to shift marketing strategies and the way he communicates. He is used to communicating via text with younger generations and in real life with the older ones.

Lastly, Mike said the company is very grateful for the hard work Teresa has done for the team. "We want the people to know that we have given her a bonus and a raise. You can plan on future videos that are educational, humorous, and fun to watch." You can follow Mike on Instagram and Pridemore Properties on Instagram for more content .
