Dogs have the funniest way of showing when they're not happy. Maybe they throw a little tantrum or "talk" to you about how upset they are. For one English Bulldog named Fred, cookies are life and he's pretty disappointed that Mom won't give him another one.

In a July 13 TikTok video shared by @fred.e.fatz , Fred's annoyance over being told no is beyond extra! Watch all his sassy attitude and try not to laugh out loud!

"When Mom tells you 'NO' to your 6th cookie," the caption reads. The video shows the Bulldog offering the ultimate side-eye action after Mom repeatedly denies him another cookie. Fred is not happy and he wants to be sure Mom, and everyone in the world, knows it! A travesty has occurred, and he's hoping someone will make it right. He doesn't care if they're store-bought or homemade dog treats —just hand them over!

With thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from some of the account's 10,000 followers, most joked that this opinionated boy deserves all the cookies!

"He's counting to 10 to control his hurt," one person commented. "He's plotting his revenge lol. You in trouble Mom," another joked. "You get up right this minute and get that bby his cookie!! This is SERIOUS MOM!" another added.

We hear you, Fred. Sometimes one or six cookies just isn't enough!

How Many Treats Should Dogs Have Per Day?

While the easy path suggests giving your dog every treat they beg for, it may not be the healthiest choice. The American Kennel Club advises the amount of treats a dog should have should go by the 10 percent rule. This means that of your dog's daily calories, only 10 percent should be made up of treats.

If your veterinarian decides your dog is at a proper weight, and you feed based on the amount of suggested servings on the back of the dog food package, you would have to subtract some of that total to incorporate extra treats.

For example, if your dog is on a diet of 1,800 calories a day, no more than 180 of those calories should be given as cookies, chews, or any other treat. When it's put like that, all those little snacks add up!

Some dogs may need more or less calories based on their unique physical needs, which is why you should always consult your vet before calculating a healthy amount of treats a day. Still, we're thinking Fred probably had enough cookies, but one more wouldn't hurt just for that side-eye alone!
