Some famous faces attended Wimbledon to watch the Men’s Final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz including Tom Cruise , Gerard Butler, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya , and Courteney Cox. But one person brought the crowd to its feet and that’s the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton ).

Kensington Palace confirmed one day earlier that Kate would be at Wimbledon, which marked her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis and first since she attended the Trooping the Colour in June . As the royal arrived and made her way to her seat, she received a standing ovation. Now, a body language expert is sharing what they observed from the princess during the event and her “determination to power through.”

Expert says Kate showed ‘inner strength’ when she attended the match

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” Now, Stanton has analyzed the Princess of Wales’ appearance during the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon and pointed out how she displayed “inner strength.”

Speaking on behalf of Fruity Slots , Stanton said: “When we saw Kate walking along, she had her shoulders back with her head held high as she took long strides. The way she was walking suggests that she is feeling good about herself and has the inner strength to take this public appearance on independently.”

Stanton added that Kate didn’t appear to fake any of her emotions or look as if she had to “put on a brave face” for the event noting: “While interacting with people, Kate looked into people’s eyes directly, displayed genuine smiles and appeared to be very present in these interactions. This shows Kate felt naturally happy to be there. She didn’t have to fake any emotion or put on a brave face — she showed a lot of genuine enthusiasm and enjoyment.

“Kate is taking everything step by step. She wasn’t over the top and doing too much too soon, she carried herself with elegance and pride. When we look at Kate’s handshake, it is very firm, controlled, and stable. There is a significant correlation between someone’s handshake and their inner confidence as an individual. Kate’s handshake proved she has a lot of confidence in herself and her self-esteem remains very strong. It highlights that Kate has the determination to power through and assert herself during royal engagements.”

How Long Kate Middleton’s Preventative Chemotherapy Treatment Will Last, According to a Cancer Specialist

The Princess of Wales attended the match with Princess Charlotte. Bringing her daughter to the final day of Wimbledon was part of a promise Kate made to the 9-year-old recently.

“It was a long-held promise that Kate would take Charlotte to the finals as a special treat,” royal author Ingrid Seward told The Sun . “Kate felt guilty she hadn’t been able to spend as much time as she would have liked to be with the kids because of her exhaustion after her treatment. Charlotte has always loved tennis.

“So it is a super special day for Kate to be able to share it with Charlotte and much more fun for her to have Charlotte there and explain to her the details of what is going on. It’s also a distraction so she does not feel she is full and centre of everyone’s attention. Charlotte is there to deflect things away from her too.”
