(WOWK) – We are seeing oppressive heat to start the work week, but StormTracker 13 Meteorologists predict a cold front will bring some relief later this week.

Starting Tuesday evening strong thunderstorms will start to pass through the region bringing in the potential for heavy rain, high winds and hail.

Take a look at the slideshow below to see when the rain will move through your neighborhood.

The strongest storms will tend to form in the north, and we will continue to see chances for thunderstorms throughout the day Wednesday. Once the rain moves in high temperatures will drop back down to the 80s for the rest of the week.
