WWE SmackDown Viewership Increases On 7/12, Demo Ranks First Overall

WWE SmackDown ‘s viewership increased on July 12.

According to Programming Insider , 2.355 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, drawing a 0.70 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode , when 2.256 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.66 rating in the same demographic. SmackDown ranked first in the demographic on cable.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Women’s Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton. It was interrupted by Bayley, Nia Jax, and Michin. This led to a match that saw Jax defeat Michin. Stratton teased a cash-in on Bayley after the match but Jax made her think better of it.

LA Knight announces he has a contract to face Logan Paul for the United States Championship at SummerSlam next month.

The main event of the show saw DIY defeat A-Town Down Under to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.

After the match, Jacob Fatu then arrived and attacked everyone. The show ended with a segment between The Bloodline, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton.
