Several other infrastructure improvements will be constructed, including freeway management systems that use a fiber optic backbone, cameras and dynamic message signs.

In addition, full freeway lighting will be installed from Loop 202 to Riggs Road.

Construction is scheduled to begin late next year and would last until early 2028. This project would cost approximately $450.3 million.
