Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway discusses new TV series

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Over the weekend, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office launched a YouTube show that can also be watched on CBS 42.

The first episode of “Jefferson County Cam Watch” aired Saturday and is available to watch online. Viewers get to hear the personal stories of the deputies and see a firsthand view of them in action.

New episodes will air every Saturday at 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 24. Sheriff Mark Pettway spoke to CBS 42’s Sherri Jackson about the show, which can be viewed in the video player above.
