Lautaro Martinez came off the bench to net a late goal in extra time.

But the game was marred before kick-off due to fan trouble outside the stadium.

The match was pushed back by an hour as ticketless supporters stormed entry points before forcing their way inside, with some even climbing through air vents.

Argentina talisman Lionel Messi also suffered a horrific ankle injury, leaving him in floods of tears on the bench.

But now, footage has emerged showing Argentina players singing a racist song about the France team following their victory at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The vile chant dates back to the 2022 World Cup, when Argentina beat France in the final on penalties.

Appearing on live TV, some fans from the South American country sang that France’s players were “all from Angola.”

And they also targeted Kylian Mbappe with a transphobic chant amid reports surrounding his dating life.

In the latest video, Chelsea star Fernandez and team-mates could be heard to sign the part about Angola.

Fernandez filmed the footage on his phone via Instagram live, with the midfielder showing celebrations on the team bus.

And seconds after the vile chant began, he switched the recording off.

Football fans took to social media to condemn the chant.

    One said: “Disgusting.”

Another declared: “Somebody tell me this is a joke.”

    One noted: “Sickening.”

Another added: “What’s the point of winning if you’re going to celebrate like this?”

Argentina’s football federation is yet to comment on the video.

Fernandez, 23, joined Chelsea from Benfica 18 months ago in a then-Premier League record move worth £105million.

He’s since gone on to score seven goals in 62 games.

And Fernandez looks set to play a key role under new boss Enzo Maresca, whose style could bring the best out of him at Stamford Bridge.
