My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 2 recap

The episode starts with Torako heading to the club room early in the morning to set it up. After school, she rushes to the club room to enjoy her new utopia. However, she finds the room wrecked, with Notokan in the corner. Torako grabs Notokan, believing she is the culprit, but the deer girl tells her she saw the room like this. She also tells Torako that someone has been trying to kill her since morning.

The attacker then lures Notokan out with a deer cracker despite Torako’s warning and traps her. Notokan challenges them, telling them to show their face. The episode then reveals the attacker is Torako’s baby sister, Anko, who admits she had attacked the club room out of jealousy to protect her sister from Nokotan.

Anko accepts Nokotan’s challenge but tells her that if she loses, she must stay as a deer in the park forever. They gather at the park for the game to see who knows more about Torako. Anko seems to have the advantage as Torako’s younger sister. However, Nokotan answers each question before it was fully asked. Soon after, Anko attacks her with a kunai, which heads straight for her sister. Nokotan blocks the attack and reveals a deer cracker had kept her safe. The episode ends with Anko and Nokotan making up.
