The New York Yankees continued adding arms to the organization through the 2024 MLB Draft as Rounds 3-10 took place Monday afternoon.

After taking Alabama's Ben Hess and Vanderbilt's Bryce Cunningham in Rounds 1 and 2, respectively, the Yankees turned around on Day 2 of the draft to add five more pitchers in their next seven selections.

All five came from the collegiate level — three from the SEC and two from the ACC. The other two players the Yankees selected were collegiate outfielders.

Here's a look at the Yankees' selections on Day 2 of the 2024 draft:

Yankees draft picks in Rounds 3-10

    • Round 3, No. 89: Thatcher Hurd, RHP, LSU
    • Round 4, No. 119: Gage Ziehl, RHP, Miami (FL)
    • Round 5, No. 152: Greysen Carter, RHP, Vanderbilt
    • Round 6, No. 181: Griffin Herring, LHP, LSU
    • Round 7, No. 211: Wyatt Parliament, RHP, Virginia Tech
    • Round 8, No. 241: Tyler Wilson, OF, Grand Canyon University
    • Round 9, No. 271: Tanner Bauman, LHP, Auburn
    • Round 10, No. 301: Joe Delossantos, OF, William & Mary

In all, the Yankees have drafted eight pitchers, all of which have come from either the SEC or the ACC. All 10 of their selections going into the final day of the draft have come from the collegiate level.

The Yankees may have gotten some value with their selections in the fourth and sixth rounds. Ziehl was MLB Pipeline's No. 89 overall prospect while Herring was the No. 157 overall prospect.

The Yankees have 10 more selections to make before the draft ends Tuesday afternoon in Rounds 11-20.
