Dubois County Fair rides removed after incident on Monday

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- An incident that occurred on Monday night at the Dubois County Fair has led to some major changes for the duration of the event.

A statement from the Dubois County 4-H Council posted to social media says, ” As a Dubois County 4-H Council we have been made aware of a situation that took place at the midway on Monday evening. After much deliberation and consideration we have decided to remove the rides from the midway for the rest of the week.”

The statement continues on to say, “As a Council we are doing our best to keep the community safe and make the fair the best we can for all involved.” Other fair attractions such as the animal shows and exhibit building will continue as planned.
