Suspect who shot into Many crowd of 1000 identified

MANY, La. ( WNTZ ) – In the evening of July 13, 2024, a social function near Many, Louisiana hosting nearly 1000 people by Newton Road was abruptly interrupted by ringing gunshots.

Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office’s investigation notes the injuring of three people who are currently suffering non-life-threating injuries. SPSO have also revealed the suspect of this violent act to be Julius Theodore Winfield IV.

The alleged shooter is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, aggravated criminal damage to property, possession of a firearm by person convicted of domestic abuse battery, and terrorizing.
